Brownie Brittle™ Crab Cakes with Aioli Sauce

Crab Cakes

• 2 large eggs

• 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

• 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

• 1/4 teaspoon pure ground black pepper

• 1 tablespoon baking powder

• 1 tablespoon lemon juice

• 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs

• 1 1/4 teaspoon old bay seasoning

• 1/4 teaspoon paprika

• 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

• 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

• 1/4 cup chocolate chip brownie brittle crumbs

• 1 pound lump crab meat

Aioli Sauce:

• 1/2 cup mayonnaise

• 1/8 teaspoon ancho chili pepper

• 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

• 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic

• 1 teaspoon chocolate chip brownie brittle crumbs

• 1/2 teaspoon sriracha
To Prepare:

1. Combine all of the ingredients into the bowl except for the lump crab meat. Mix it well with a spoon and then add in the crab. Cover with saran wrap and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

2. Remove mixture and use the cup of your hand to make crab cakes about the size of a golf ball. Place into a well-oiled skillet on medium/high heat. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side.

3. In a small bowl combine all of the ingredients for the aioli sauce. Drizzle the sauce over the top of each crab cake.

Yield: 10+ crab cakes
