Play #1 - Brownie Truffles
Steps:
1) Make your favorite fudge brownie recipe according to the directions, but cut back on the cooking time by 5 minutes to keep the brownies gooey, but still cooked.
2) Once cooled, place in the refrigerator and chill for 20 to 30-minutes.
3) Remove brownies from pan and place in food processor for 3 minutes or until working dough is soft and pliable.
4) Scoop single servings using a medium sized ice cream scoop and roll into a football shape form by hand.
5) Roll the football shaped forms in crushed Brownie Brittle (optional – dip in additional melted white chocolate for extra decadence)
6) Your brownie truffle is now ready to decorate by using the melted white chocolate to pipe the laces (use a small plastics bag with the edge cut out to squeeze the white chocolate through or a piping bag) onto the football shape.
For more variety, add your favorite liqueur or champagne to the dough when mixing. Keep refrigerated until serving.
Play #2 - Football Shaped Brownies
Steps:
1) Make your favorite fudge brownie recipe according to the directions.
2) Once cooled, place in the refrigerator and chill for 20 to 30-minutes.
3) Remove brownies from pan and use football shaped cookie cutter to cut out your football shaped brownies.
4) Optional - Spread crushed Brownie Brittle onto a plate, and dip the tops of the brownies into the crushed bits.
5) Use your melted white chocolate as your piping to edge the footballs and make the laces. (Use a traditional piping bag with a narrow straight tip or take a plastic baggie and place the melted white chocolate inside, then snip a small hole in the corner of the bag for piping)
Enjoy!
