
Sheila G’s Golden Globe Blondie Truffles with Amaretto
These red-carpet-worthy truffles were specially created by Sheila G to be served at the Golden Globes’ parties for NBC/Universal, The Weinstein Company and Netflix.
Ingredients
1 ¼ C Melted Butter (2 ½ sticks)
1 ½ C Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 ½ tsp Vanilla
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 ½ C Flour
2 T Almond Extract
1 oz Amaretto
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Ingredients
To Prepare:
Mix together melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt.
Mix in flour and baking powder. Blend thoroughly.
Pour into greased 13x9 pan and bake 22 minutes at 350⁰ F.
Remove from oven and cool completely.
Break into chunks and place in food processor.
Combine to the mix the 2T almond extract and 1 oz Amaretto.
Chill in refrigerator until firm. Use small ice cream scoop to form small ball, then roll in topping of choice, or enrobe in chocolate.
